“I want to live my life, not record it.” Jackie Kennedy
Celebrities, Sex, and Suicide
Dying is part of the deal when you’re given life. It sucks, but it’s one of the few things us humans have in common. While most deaths (though sad) can be justified by longevity and meaningfulness, some deaths are abrupt, shocking, and just plain unfair.
In recent years, there has been a wave of deaths in Hollywood and many of them appear premature. Following in the heals of celebrities like Chris Cornell, Tom Petty, and Chester Bennington, is Swedish superstar DJ Avicii.
Born Ted Bergling, the talented 28-year-old was recently found unresponsive and his cause of death was promptly ruled a suicide, as was the case of some of Avicii’s predecessors.
But is that really what happened?
Part of the enticement of money and fame is the underbelly of the subculture – one shrouded in sex, drugs, and scandal. Avicii’s life and subsequent death appear to be no exception.
In the wake of Avicii’s sudden passing, news stories have surfaced suggesting his cause of death was something far more sinister than depression and drugs. It’s a tale of pedophilia and child sex rings and a long line of famous people caught up in its grip.

Can we all just agree that Kanye West is a repugnant member of society and a horrible example to little kids?
Like, if aliens were to come down to earth and request a meeting with humans, Kanye would probably be one of the last people we would choose to represent mankind. Hell, I would pick Snookie to be the face of our P.R. team over Kanye.
Look, maybe the guy is talented and maybe there is something to be said about him working his ass off to get where he is. MAYBE. But neither of those things gives a person allowance to be an obnoxious, egotistical asshat.
Bad press seems to be part of the Kanye package, and yet it never appears to affect his celebrity status or dissuade his fans. Recently, TMZ interviewed the almighty douche-canoe which lead to the reporter telling Kanye just how much of a douche-canoe he actually is.
And while I usually think TMZ reporters are like the Arby’s of journalism, this rant is pretty freak’in epic.
