“I was smart enough to go through any door that opened.” – Joan Rivers
The #metoo movement has done two very powerful (and very contradictory) things.
It has brought to surface the silent nightmare of many women whose stories of sexual assault, sexual harassment, and workplace inappropriateness, have far too long hid in the shadows of society’s consciousness. While the #metoo movement certainly won’t eradicate the incidence of sexual assault, it has forced a mirror to be held up to our actions and the actions of our peers.
Oddly enough, the same movement that has empowered women and revealed much depravity regarding human interaction has ALSO made the line of what constitutes sexual inappropriateness rather hard to assert. What exactly defines sexual harassment and who gets to qualify that boundary?
In China, a reporter was recently seen on-screen being kissed by a rather enthusiastic fan and looking quite uncomfortable about the situation. Many have taken to social media to condemn the female fans actions.

What do you think?
Fanny packs are back, bitches, and I have to say, I’m in no way disappointed.
Don’t get me wrong – they look goofy as hell. Fanny packs are to the bag world as visors are to the hat world – they just LOOK like someone gave up designing them halfway through and was like, “let’s see if anyone will buy this half-assed attempt at clothing.”
However, unlike the visor, which is about as pointless as washing machines that lock, fanny packs actually ARE quite useful.
They don’t put a lot of pressure on your spine or lower back. You don’t have to continually look for places to hang them at restaurants and airports. And they are JUST the right size if you want to pack, say, your debit card, some travel size Kleenex, hand sanitizer, and a few skittles on your tour through the Grand Canyon.
