Oops! I Didn’t Know I Couldn’t Say That
There’s an entire list of words that we can’t say anymore given that they are offensive to others.
In fact, for those of you who might not know, the “r-word” is one of these bad words that shouldn’t be used even when referring to someone who might be mentally challenged — and especially not used if you are joking with someone who is just slow on the uptake.
Recently, Kourtney Kardashian learned this the hard way when she jokingly called her sister the r-word in a live Instagram video.
Her fans lost their minds and worked double overtime in their attempt to teach her the value of respecting those who aren’t “all there” upstairs.
Understanding the power of condemnation for using offensive words publicly, she apologized profusely and swore it would never happen again.
If only we could actually care about each other as much as we care about our choice of words…maybe this is a start.
Never in my life have I seen a hat cause so much drama!
I get it, I get it. It’s not the hat, per se, but rather the meaning behind the hat and what it represents.
In this country of “free speech” and expression, you would think you could wear something that proudly reflects how you feel about a subject without getting harassed for it. At least that’s what I think every time I see a guy wearing a sexually inappropriate t-shirt…
However, it seems like these days if you wear a “Make America Great Again” hat in public, then you’d better be ready for a fight. In fact, recently, several teens exercising their freedom of speech to support the president found themselves hatless and hurt. Liberals claim freedom is every person’s right…too bad they fail to see this when the freedom is expressed by someone else.
