“I made out with a homeless guy by accident. I had no idea — he was really tan, he had no shoes on. I just thought it was, like, his thang, you know? I was like, ‘He’s probably in a band.'”- Amy Schumer
Losing weight has never been so easy
We are constantly bombarded with advertisements for pills or diet food which claims to help us lose weight fast.
This sounds great, and of course it seems easier than actually changing our lifestyles.
In an effort to take advantage of a good thing, we spend our money on these gimmicks only to find that they don’t work — we’re still overweight and now a few dollars short. Is it the fault of the companies that attempt to take advantage of our hopes to be slim or is it our fault for believing it?
We don’t want to put in the work necessary to look better, be healthier, or feel better. We just want to take a pill and wake up the next day 70lbs lighter. Unfortunately, this isn’t reality.
At some point we have to dig deep within and motivate ourselves to remain steadfast on a program that will help us to achieve our weight loss goals. Want help getting motivated?
Read this story about one man who lost over 200lbs by simply walking and saying goodbye to potato chips.
Actor John Schneider, a former Dukes of Hazard star, recently went to jail for not paying his child support.
He was let out early due to overcrowding, and get this… he complained that he wanted back in.
For Schneider, he’d take jail over paying for a child he brought into the world. This is a problem we face in America.
We are living within a system that allows people to escape their responsibilities with a mere slap on the wrist and a few days away, free room and board. Anytime a person begs to go back to jail you can bet that jail time wasn’t so bad.
