Pill Pushing

I think it’s safe to say that pharmaceutical companies have no real, vested interest in our physical or mental health. It’s all just profit margins to them.

Pharmaceutical companies are so shady, they scout out good-looking people to bring lunches to doctors’ offices and bribe these medical professionals into using whatever particular drug they are trying to push. And lunch is the most modest thing they’ll use for bribery. Lavish dinners, financial contributions, and trips around the world are not unheard of – all in efforts to get doctors to pedal their drug on their patients.

Not one to be outdone in the arena of questionable ethical practices, the makers of OxyContin have just gotten a patent on a drug to help people wean themselves off opiates.

Pot and Podcasts

Elon Musk certainly likes to keep things interesting. Co-founder of SpaceX, Tesla, and Pay-Pal (among other companies), the 47-year-old has proven to be both a brilliant and controversial force to be reckoned with.

In recent weeks, Musk has stirred the proverbial social media pot by actually SMOKING pot during an interview with Joe Rogan. And, because we all know that weed is the Devil’s Lettuce, this seemingly inconsequential action has created mass hysteria.

People have called on the U.S. Air Force to look into the matter (because the U.S. Air Force clearly has nothing better to do with their time and our tax dollars). It’s doubtful anything will come of this “investigation,” but Musk might want to keep his vices on the DL in the future.

Along with the deranged weed-imbibing, Musk and Rogan drank, laughed, and broached topics all over the map.
