“Laugh and the world laughs with you, snore and you sleep alone.” – Anthony Burgess

‘Mos, Memes, and Screams

The best part about the gay community is that they know how to laugh at themselves and poke fun at one other (See what I did there? The jokes just come naturally!)

I know this because a significant portion of my friends are gay, so I’ve spent a lot of time immersed in the homosexual culture, and I gotta tell you… if you don’t have a gay friend or have frequented your city’s gay district, you’re really missing out.

Now, I realize these comments may offend a lot of people. From the ultra-conservatives who develop a tick even at the mention of the word gay to people who think my blasé attitude completely disregards the plight of homosexual suffering – my stance that spending time with gay people is totally entertaining can come across as uncouth. To which I would politely remind you that if you follow my articles, I’m not exactly known for being P.C.

Anyway, if you ARE gay, have tons of gay friends, or just appreciate really good memes and humor, check out these 14 internet Easter Eggs about the gays that will totally have you howling.

Craig’s List Transactions

Now that there are so many apps where you can sell and exchange products (gear, clothing, furniture, etc.) it’s actually pretty surprising Craig’s List is still a thing.

Between E-bay, OfferUp, LetGo, and even Facebook, the fact that people are still willing to pilot the mind field that is Craig’s List is pretty unbelievable – especially considering that they haven’t always had the best PR.

Making a transaction over Craig’s List is comparable to going on an online date with someone who has very few photos on their profile. It’s just sketchy.

Like, if you have plans to meet someone off Craig’s List to complete a business exchange, it would be wise to take two of your friends, some mace or a gun, and have 911 on speed-dial. Granted, 99.9% of C.L. interactions go without a hitch, but it sort of feels like you’re walking into a war zone or like you’re on an episode of Breaking Bad.

This satirical video is a great example of how most people feel when doing business on Craig’s List.
