Every quality sitcom or television show has one character who is the voice of reason – the “go-to guy” that provides helpful advice and pearls of infinite wisdom.
On Home Improvement, it was the next door neighbor, Wilson. On Saved By The Bell, it was Zack Morris’ homeroom teacher, Miss Bliss. On the Cosby Show, it was … oh, wait…
Anyway, my point is that almost every all-American tv series has a profound character who doles out life lessons likes he’s the goddamn Dalai Lama. Granted, none of these characters have probably ever ACTUALLY had an impact on a viewer’s life, but damn! Those 30-minute after-school sitcoms could give you the warm fuzzies inside.
For 90’s kids, one of those tv characters was Mr. Feeny – a teacher and neighbor on the show Boy Meets World who probably single-handedly kept Topanga from getting pregnant and Eric from doing drugs.
Here are just a few of Mr. Feeny’s most powerful speeches from the show.
The 2018 midterm elections are over and the results left most Americans semi-happy.
If you are a Republican, you were probably reasonably happy that your party still holds the majority in the Senate.
If you are a Democrat, you are probably at least satisfied that your representatives have more control over the House.
If you are a woman, a P.O.C. or gay, you’re probably quite proud that the government is finally starting to reflect your “people.”
Regardless of where you stand politically or how (or if) you voted, one thing seems to be clear across all party and cultural lines: Americans love their weed.
In the wake of the midterm elections and proposed bills, huge shifts are being made toward a more 420-friendly country. Read more about these changes, here.
