Every country has its own culture, traditions, and idiosyncrasies that make it unique to the rest of the world.
As Americans, we stand in awe over certain international traditions and inventions while we raise our eyebrows at others.
For example, the fact that Japan has bullet trains? Awesome! The fact that Ireland serves their Guinness at room temperature? Confusing as hell. You take the good with the bad, especially when it comes to traveling.
The same is obviously true, vice versa. Americans do things that much of the world views as batshit crazy. But one thing that is unique to America that other countries are in awe of?
Let’s just say it truly is a staple of all things American. So much so that Toby Keith dedicated a song to it.

So many years have passed since the Chris Brown and Rihanna incident that most of us have all but forgotten about it.
Actually, referring to the altercation as an “incident” doesn’t do it any real service. Chris Brown beat the crap out of Rhianna – during a time prepubescent to the “Me Too” movement – only for the charges against Brown to be reduced and forgotten.
Brown has managed to retain his popularity and relevancy despite the allegations made against him … until now.
The rapper and his crew were recently arrested on charges of aggravated rape and drug possession, according to this article from NPR. And while some people are shocked, most people are more surprised this hasn’t happened much sooner.
