To succeed in life, you need three things: A wishbone, a backbone and a wishbone
An Angry Priest Blesses Children with Pain
When we think of a Catholic priest we tend to visualize a gentle old man who gracefully places a dot of oil upon the heads of small children. It is such a beautiful sight to see, because it reflects God’s love through gentle compassion and patience, right? Well, not in this video! Here, we have a priest who is obviously having a very bad day. He “blesses” the small children as they walk by slapping them and pushing them through the procession.
It’s almost odd to see because the children are obviously afraid to walk up to the priest for fear of being tormented. You will laugh when you see the video, but then it will make you think about a few things. You will immediately wonder where the parents are in this situation and why they are allowing this to occur?
This video reminds us of the fact that we place more trust in the church than we do in ourselves. If you were a parent and witnessed your children being beaten up by a priest, would you step in or would you allow the madness to continue? We believe that if a priest does it, then it’s right. If a priest says it, then it must be correct.
Then we go nuts when we watch the news and see that a priest is in trouble for sexual assault among a minor. It’s time to remember that your children trust you to protect them at all times, regardless of who they are dealing with. Think it’s crazy? Watch this video and see just how crazy things can get.
Someone please explain why an old white woman feels the need to teach others how to dance to hip hop music? Urban dance is something that comes from within and it relies on a person’s ability to have rhythm. So why, oh why, is this woman utilizing the “1, 2, 3, step, 2, 3” choreography to teach others how to feel something that can only be found inside?
If her choreography wasn’t bad enough, she even dresses in hip hop gear to further display her so-called credibility. It all comes off as being incredibly fraudulent, fake, and almost insulting. Who says that dancing to urban music has to include wearing clothes that are a million sizes too small?
When someone of a culture attempts to teach something about another culture, they have to be very careful. If you dress like the stereotype, talk like the stereotype, and walk like the stereotype, then guess what?
You are promoting the stereotype! You have a multitude of individuals who feel they are actually showing love and support when they teach something about the culture of others.
Unfortunately, this is something that falls upon a very fine line that isn’t always easy to walk. See for yourself what it means to take things a bit too far when teaching something you don’t know much about.
