Cell Phone Sickness

Cell phones and tablets have become such an integral part of society, it’s nearly impossible to avoid them.

Whether you’re making financial transactions, sending an e-mail, applying for a job, posting pictures, or looking at porn – mobile devices have become a pivotal part of accomplishing a multitude of things in a time-effective and efficient way.

But a growing body of research suggests that the ramifications of spending significant time on our phones can be linked with an abundance of health issues.

And one of those health issues is shortening the duration of your life.

That’s right. The more time you spend on your phone, the more likely you decrease your lifespan, according to this article out of The New York Times. Thus, you may want to rethink how often you look at your cell phone.

Sounds Fishy To Me

Marine biologists and other scientists within the “sea world” have directed much of their time dissecting dead fish and analyzing specimen like coral.

This focus is largely to understand and identify toxicity levels attributed to mankind – things like plastic particles, traces of oil, and other manmade byproducts.

In this era, not much surprises marine biologists when it comes to finding foreign materials embedded within salt water and fresh water wildlife.

However, what these English scientists recently discovered in a body of Suffolk River fish is a perfect example of just how much human habits can affect wildlife.

Either that or fish party way harder than we give them credit for.
