Tell Us How You Really Feel

The Nightcap

“Men make history and not the other way around. In periods where there is no leadership, society stands still. Progress occurs when courageous, skillful leaders seize the opportunity to change things for the better.” – Harry S Truman

Funny Wife, Happy Life

As the old adage goes, “Happy Wife, Happy Life” – which I guess is true if you don’t mind spending your entire marriage being a little bitch.

Here’s the thing: trying to make your wife happy, secure, and feeling loved and appreciated are MOST DEFINITELY the cornerstones to a long-lasting marriage.

However, that pendulum swings both ways, honey. It’s important that both partners put in equal amounts of work. Being put in the metaphorical “dog house” or “sanctioned to sleeping on the couch” should not strictly be a husband thing. Why aren’t wives being forced to sleep on that crappy easy-recliner in the basement when they done and effed up?

The punishments seem pretty one-sided is all I’m saying. Or maybe women just don’t do as many stupid things as their male counterparts?

All that being said, regardless of who wears the pants in the family, it’s crucial to maintain a good sense of humor regarding marriage. And these humorous (and all too real) tweets about spouses and relationships is proof of that.

The Cabby Countdown

It’s safe to say that New Yorkers are their own species. That’s not hyperbole or an insult – that’s just a fact. And most New Yorkers will gladly own that shit.

Of course, in today’s hyper-P.C.culture, you aren’t supposed to make blanketed statements about anyone. However, nobody has ever accused me of being sensitive or politically correct, so on that note…

New Yorkers are loud, boisterous, they tell it like it is, demand respect, and make no apologies for any of it. They are also hysterical when you get them going off on a tangent or tirade.

Watch as this hilarious, New York cab driver rants about how backwards the French numeric system is.
