Living In A New Era

The Nightcap

Playing old school games with new school kids

Parents often remember the good old days when kids played outdoor games like hide-and-go-seek, chase, and a number of other kid games that required physical activity.

With this being said, it comes as no surprise that many parents deplore their kids’ constant desire to stay inside and play video games all day.

This is the background to this video and believes us, it will make you laugh no matter what generation you’re associated with.

A father wants to teach his son a lesson about playing outside and getting fresh air. The son goes for the idea, but needless to say, it doesn’t work out in the end. The father learns the hard way that playing outside works best when you are a kid who came from that era.

Slick blind burglar

Have you ever wondered how a blind burglar would do his job of stealing? These are the kinds of things we sit around and think about over here! We wonder if blind people commit crimes, and if so, what would that look like?

Would they need assistance breaking into the house, and if so, how would they know to get around and what to steal? Wouldn’t they just be in the way of their criminal partner?
Well, we were lucky enough to find a video of a blind burglar who shows you exactly how something like that might look. Of course, the video is a spoof, but who cares? It’s funny!

We all make assumptions about people with disabilities when we assume that they are free of committing crimes. We believe that their inability to see or hear would somehow eliminate them from the world of crime.

Maybe that’s why we love this video so much! It does a hilarious job of giving us an idea of what crime would look like for a blind person, how he could pull the heist off, and if he’d be successful. In this case, the guy is successful…until the end.

His inability to see works in his favor when he opens a safe. The problem is when he attempts to rob the robbers. This is when having sight might have benefited him the most.
