I Spy With My Little Eye

While it may seem like virtually every household has an Alexa in them, there are still some of us that turn on music, order takeout, and change the room temperature the old fashion way.

Why? I can’t speak for EVERYONE, but for me, having a robot in my house that literally knows everything about me and what I do on a daily basis is creepy as hell. I’m not even much of a conspiracy nut, but if you don’t think Alexa is being used to collect intel for the government database, you probably also believe Facebook is no more than a fun forum to share pictures.

In fact, if you ask Alexa ANY question regarding being recorded or exchanging info with the government, that bitch will go silent faster than a crook in an interrogation room.

But it’s not just Alexa. U.S. citizens are being recorded and spied on virtually everywhere. Here are just four, horrifying examples of how the government is breaching your trust and confidentiality in the most unexpected ways.

What We Do For Attention

Living in an era where social media is the main attraction for attention seekers, it’s difficult to imagine a life where people maintain their desire to do things for mere likes.

There are those in the world who are so hungry for the positive thumbs up from strangers that they will risk their own lives. To make matters worse, there are also those who will risk the lives of innocent people just to gain a following of people who are just as twisted as they are.

We have all seen our fair share of those on social media who have harmed others for the sake of gaining popularity on social media, and we have also seen those who will do some of the dumbest things imaginable.

Take the guy in this video, for example. He has decided that he doesn’t need a circus to perform his dumb act. All he needs is a video camera, a reckless mindset, and a few super tall buildings to play on.

Children who watch videos such as this are prime targets for stupidity, and they are more than likely apt to repeat what they see if they find that it gained a lot of attention.

Considering the responsibility factor of actions, along with personal safety, are both something that everyone should consider prior to making the decision to do something foolish. Unfortunately, this isn’t the thought pattern of those who are eager for attention online.
