The Nightcap

APERITIF:

“For me, success is a state of mind. I feel like success isn’t about conquering something; it’s being happy with who you are.” – Britney Spears

How you sleep says a lot about you

Are you the type of person that tosses and turns all night long while sleeping? Do you sleepwalk, or know someone who does? You may not know this but how you sleep says a lot about what’s going on in your life.

The mind is a funny thing and it seems to free itself when you close your eyes and attempt to rest your body. When you have a peaceful night, everything seems wonderful because you are a breath of fresh air the next day. However, when you have a lot on your mind, and you can’t figure things out, you will truly feel the pain.

It goes without saying that a restless night is no laughing matter. A night without sufficient sleep leads to a day filled with anxiety and mood swings. Although it isn’t funny when you have such a horrible night, no one said it wasn’t funny when you witness someone else struggle through theirs.

Take the two women in this video, for example. Two friends who are having a simple sleepover turns into a mad mess the moment one of the friends shows her true colors in her attempt to make it through the night. It’s one thing to toss and turn, but this woman goes a bit far.

Airlines Treat Us Like Cattle

So, we all know that airlines are becoming Cheaper and cheaper by attempting to charge passengers for luggage, soda’s and even snacks these days.

They charge more money for flights, yet the only benefit that their customers receive in the deal is the right to arrive safely. This truly sucks when you think about it. Well, at least we can arrive well rested and comfortable, right? Wrong!

Now, airlines have found a way to make us pay for something that you would think should be free…breathing room. If you want to have enough space to breathe, then you’d better be prepared to dig deep into your wallet and pay for it. This sounds like a nasty joke, but it’s real.

It’s not enough to pay for a seat, anymore. Now, you must pay more if you are interested in sitting without having your front neighbor in your lap. The seats are only a few inches apart, and the bottom of the seats are made to look like bicycle seats. To make matters worse, when the front tray is opened, it falls directly onto the person’s lap.

But how would you feel if you didn’t have any leg room at all? What about if your knees actually pressed against the seat in front of you? This is the future for flying and it isn’t pretty. So, the next time you board a flight and you want to complain about the seats being too close, just think of this video. It will change how you view things.
