The Hard Stuff

As humans, we can’t agree on a lot when it comes to… well… virtually everything. But I think most of us can succinctly agree that cheese may be the best thing ever (with bacon coming in as a close second).

“Well, what about the vegans?” You may be asking yourself, in which case I would say, “They don’t count. Anyone who eats tofurkey shows a clear lapse of judgment and thus cannot be factored into any food debate.”

Back to the cheese. It is delicious and magnificent in all of its beautiful forms. Don’t agree? Well, according to this study, eating cheese instigates the same flood of neurotransmitters that cocaine does, so who’s wrong now?

Science, b**ches!

Birds The Word

There is unquestionably a huge problem with poverty and homelessness here in America. And the reason these problems remain so persistent within the fabric of our society is that there really isn’t a whole lot of viable solutions.

From soup kitchens, to work programs, to donations and charities – there are several ways some cities and districts try to help in a positive way. Other areas are so overrun by homeless people that imprisonment is often an ulterior solution.

But the city of Denver, Colorado decided it was going to go a less traditional route (probably cuz it’s Denver and is high as balls) and decided to kill two birds with one stone… literally.

Check out how the Mile High City decided to temporarily solve a goose and homelessness crisis at the same time, here.
