Amazon UNDER Fire

If you are like most of the world, you probably shop on Amazon a lot. Easy to navigate with tons of options and good price points, it’s a convenient go-to. That’s probably why Amazon makes up 50% of all online purchases (which is a pretty staggering number when you consider all the websites, storefronts, and marketplaces there are.)

Plus, you don’t have to physically go to a shop and deal with the hassle of actually interacting with society so – thank god for THAT.

Amazon has over 2 million sellers and that can be great for customers because of the variety. However, it’s very difficult to maintain quality control and ethical trading practices when your platform sustains that many sellers.

As a result, Amazon has been in the news a few times for their lack of good sales practices and products.

Here’s just a few examples of what the famous conglomerate has been caught doing.

Outcry For Popeyes

If you’ve been following Facebook or Twitter lately, you probably heard that the popular fast-food chains, Popeyes and Chick-fil-A, are in a feud over who has the best chicken sandwich.

You know… important matters that influence society. Right up there with nuking hurricanes.

This came in the wake of Popeyes introducing their new crispy chicken sandwich, claiming it’s way better than Chic-Fil-A and shots have been fired via Twitter ever since.

If you think THAT’S a lot of drama over a chicken sandwich, you should hear what happened when some of the Popeyes chains ran out of their new sandwich in under a month.

Watch CNN anchors take on the chicken craze and discuss the outcry over the Great Chicken Shortage of 2019.”
