Wealth vs Want

We’ve all heard the same story in one form or another: someone’s great great great grandfather came to America with a nickel in his pocket and a dream in his heart.

Through hard work, dedication, and being in the “land of opportunity”, that grandfather slowly built an empire. And you know what the moral of the story is, kids? If you work hard enough, it will pay off.

Only, it’s 2019 and it’s not always that simple nowadays. Of course, tenacity and hard work are definitely important cornerstones to being successful. Unfortunately, the reality is that there are thousands of people in America right now that work their butts off and will probably always struggle to make ends meet.

And there are plenty of people born into affluent families who will probably have a cushy life even if they don’t work their tails off to get it.

In fact, as this one article points out, one of the leading factors that determine if a kid is going to enjoy success later in life isn’t dedication – it’s wealth.

Universal Studios now has a haunted maze that was inspired by and meant to replicate Stranger Things. Yes, I mean the ever-popular TV series and no, this is not a drill people! This is real life and it’s probably one of the most exciting things to happen to Universal Studios in a very long time.
