Don’t Lose Control

Temper Like A Mother

Mother’s are critical to society because they are responsible for raising healthy, happy, educated, responsible, and kind children. It’s a heavy burden to carry, but it is what it is. Children are nurtured by their mothers and it is most unfortunate when they see examples of bigotry, racism, or hatred from the very women that they rely on for guidance.

In this video, someone randomly recorded a woman ranting uncontrollably to a group of Chinese store owners while in front of her young son. She goes on about how they shouldn’t speak Chinese, and how they are not really welcomed in the United States, among other things. She yelled, she screamed, she cursed, and she disrespected the storeowners in every verbal manner that she could think of. The worst part was that her young son stood there watching her while she was in action.

Think of the example she set for her young son at that time. As a result of her actions, society can expect that another child will potentially grow up to become an addition to the bigoted and racist clan that currently exists. The mother in this video did not show any empathy, understanding, respect, or love. She lacked the ability to show patience, and in the end, she taught her young son that respect for anyone different from himself was not necessary. Most unfortunate.
