Millennial Job Interviews

Millennials have a tough time convincing the world that they should be taken seriously. People often talk about how millennials are lazy, spoiled, or even clueless when it comes to work ethic and responsibility. This is unfortunate, but apparently, it’s so believable that someone decided to make a spoof about a millennial on a job interview. Let’s just say we couldn’t stop laughing.

In this video, there’s a young woman being interviewed for a job that she seemingly can’t connect with the reality of the accompanying responsibilities. The employer attempts to no end to explain the importance of arriving to work at 8am, only to be questioned by the young woman who feels 10am is the best deal. It’s incredibly funny, but it also attempts to hit on how most people feel about millennials today.

Without a doubt, many millennials get a very raw deal by society. They have a reputation for being silly, irresponsible, unrealistic, narcissists who don’t have a clue about what it takes to contribute to society. Instead, they have a reputation for taking from society without giving much back.

In defense of most millennials, we can honestly say that they definitely contribute something positive to our society. They have the ability to understand technology in ways most just can’t. They are intensely connected to the political arena and they understand social issues–all while having the tolerance that most generations before them just can’t seem to grasp. These are things that make us forgive most millennials for any shortcomings that they may have.

We Are Mere Animals

Black Friday has a notorious reputation in America as being the moment when people shop for discounts while acting like crazed animals. They fight when a shopping mall opens the door, they frantically grab products off the shelves, and they run over each other to get more products. This is an unfortunate truth about our society and consumerism.

In this video, you will see just how crazy people can get when they find out that they have the chance to save a few dollars here and there. It’s so sad to watch people jump on one another for a smart tv, and it makes you wonder how people would act if they were in need of something more critical to life…like say, water, perhaps.
